Quality standards for heating oil in Germany
The quality of heating oil in Germany is regulated by the strict DIN 51603-1 standard . Heizoelpunkt only supplies heating oil that meets these standards. Bio-heating oil is subject to additional special requirements according to DIN-V 51603-6 .
Standard heating oil
This classic standard heating oil contains a maximum of 0.005% sulfur (50 ppm) and can be used safely in all common oil heating systems. It ensures reliable combustion and high operational safety.
Premium heating oil
Premium heating oil , also known as super heating oil , offers optimized performance through special additives . These ensure:

Reduced deposits in the heating system
Longer storage stability
Greater operational reliability
Less unpleasant heating oil odors due to fragrances
The additives are added directly to the tanker during filling by an automatic dosing system to ensure a uniform mixture.
Bio-heating oil
Bio-heating oil contains at least 3% renewable raw materials and meets the requirements of DIN-V 51603-6 . It represents a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional heating oil and is compatible with many modern oil heating systems.
